AMS Community Scholarship
Anchorage Montessori School is proud to offer the AMS Community Scholarship for the 2026-2027 school year.
A Montessori education is a meaningful investment in a child's future, and we know that for many families it is also a significant financial commitment. The AMS Community Scholarship reflects our belief that this education should remain within reach for the families who call our school home. Awards are based on both financial need and a family's commitment to our school community and Montessori education.
A total of $20,000 in scholarship funding will be awarded for the 2026-2027 school year. Award amounts vary based on demonstrated need and the number of eligible applications received, and awards are applied directly as a tuition credit to your family's account.
In reviewing applications, priority is given to families who are not receiving tuition assistance through other programs, such as military child care assistance, the Alaska Child Care Assistance Program, or Cook Inlet Tribal Council assistance. Receiving assistance does not disqualify your family from applying, and every family's unique circumstances are thoughtfully considered.
The application is simple and takes about 10 to 15 minutes. We do not ask for tax returns or other financial documents. We simply ask that you answer honestly so we can understand your family's situation. All applications are confidential.
