Anchorage Montessori School values diversity in our community, including socio-economic diversity. We accept the following tuition assistance programs.  Please follow the links below to see if you may qualify for one of these programs.  

 

Financial Aid

Anchorage Montessori School offers need-based financial aid to families enrolled in the school. Financial aid amounts range from $500-$600 for half-day students and $1000-$1200 for full-day students from the total yearly tuition amount.

The fee to apply for financial aid is $40. This fee goes directly to Facts Grant and Aid to evaluate and make recommendations for awards. Your financial information is not reviewed by staff at Anchorage Montessori School. 

You will need to create a separate account for grants and aid that is different from your regular Facts account. If you have any questions about financial aid, please do not hesitate to ask.

Child Care Assistance

Click the link below for more information about Alaska Child Care Assistance Program. This program is best for families of children between 19 months and 6 years who meet income requirements.  It is also available for before and after care and summer camps for elementary students. If you would like a paper childcare assistance application, please see the staff at the front desk.

Please note that this application is submitted directly to the State of Alaska Department of Health and Social Services Division of Public Assistance Child Care Program Office and not to AMS.

Child Care Aware

Anchorage Montessori School is an approved facility for Child Care Aware.  Click the link below for more information about this program Program. This program is best for families of children between 19 months and 6 years who are active duty military.  It is also available for before and after care and summer camps for elementary students.

Cook Inlet Tribal Council

Click the link below for more information on child care assistance through Cook Inlet Tribal Council. This program is best for families of children between 19 months and 6 years who are Alaska Native and American Indian people residing in the Cook Inlet region of southcentral Alaska.  It is also available for before and after care and summer camps for elementary students.
